SEC Management Platform

Getting started

Sign in, open your community, run Analyse, and find your way around.

The SEC Management Platform replaces the Excel BER Map, CSO Census, and SAPS VLOOKUP templates with one interactive tool. Accounts are created by your platform administrator — there is no self-service signup.

  • Open the login page at dashboard.sustainableenergycommunities.ie/login
  • Use the email and password you were given (or reset via “Forgot password”)
  • A sign-in lasts about five days per browser
  • Need access? Email info@sustainableenergycommunities.ie

Open a community

After sign-in, the tool shows a “Your communities” bar when communities are assigned to you. One click loads that community’s Small Areas and runs analysis.

If your account can build a custom selection, use County → Local Electoral Area → Small Areas, tick the areas that make up your SEC, then press Analyse. Analysis pulls BER, Census, and related datasets for exactly those Small Areas; everything else is calculated in the browser.

How navigation works

  • Sectors (green row): Residential, Transport, Renewables, Community, Fuel Poverty & Social — and others your organisation has enabled
  • Plan & Track (dropdown): Overview, Regional Atlas, What-if Scenarios, 2030 Plan, Opportunities, Funding, Action Plan, Progress, Documents, Data Sources
  • Settings: assumptions, community scaler, fuel factors, and (where enabled) module layout

Most Plan & Track and sector tabs need an analysis first — they stay greyed out until you have run Analyse. Regional Atlas, Data Sources, and Settings work without a selection.
